Youri Tielemans punished two defensive errors, and Bellingham's equalizer in the 95th minute preserved a tie.

This was a two-part match. The two sides of a pair. England's attacking play was impressive, if not lethal, and they continued to fight until the very end, when Jude Bellingham scored a last-second, beautiful goal to tie the score.

With the release of their new away uniform, England looked all purple.  Blunders/mistakes? Whatever you want to name it, they are not going to be able to win the European Championship in the summer if they continue this way. Not a chance.

Sure, the fact that England's starting back four were all out due to injury offered some consolation, but Jordan Pickford and Lewis Dunk's mistakes allowed Belgium to score two goals in the first half, which Youri Tielemans of Aston Villa celebrated.

Conversely, Belgium had advantages. Huge benefits. They posed a genuine threat when they attacked England. They surely generated some of their most effective offensive lineups in a very long time.

And what a fantastic first performance for 18-year-old Kobbee Mainoo. What a promising midfield player. From being an outsider, he is almost certain to make the final 23.
